We are looking for an Engineering Project Specialist in the Manufacturing/Aerospace sector. The primary role of the Engineering Project Specialist is to fulfill the objectives of the Engineering division under the guidance of the Engineering Manager. Below are the key responsibilities associated with this position:
- Engage with clients to discuss product applications and provide technical solutions.
- Analyze customer specifications through drawings and other documentation to select appropriate materials and manufacturing techniques that align with customer needs.
- Create TSI drawings to accurately represent the company's products and collaborate with clients to ensure their drawings sufficiently depict the intended product.
- Compile all necessary documentation for tooling and manufacturing teams to facilitate the production of tooling, components, and quality inspections.
- Assist the Marketing department in quotation processes by estimating required resources, materials, and assessing project feasibility.
- Lead initiatives to innovate new materials, manufacturing methods, or products.
- Stay informed about advancements in the industry, particularly regarding materials and manufacturing processes.
- Additional tasks may be assigned by the Engineering Manager as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English; knowledge of Spanish is advantageous.
- Exceptional project management capabilities.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities.
- Must qualify as a "U.S. Person," defined as a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or individual granted Asylum status under U.S. law.
