As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Continuous Diagnostic & Mitigation (CDM) Data Services Program.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Elasticsearch Developer who can design, develop, and implement advanced data solutions using Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK) stack. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data processing, analytics, and cybersecurity, with experience in working with large datasets and developing scalable data pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop advanced data models and architectures using Elasticsearch and related technologies.
  • Develop and implement data pipelines using Logstash and other tools to collect, transform, and integrate data from various sources.
  • Develop and maintain complex Elasticsearch queries and data visualizations using Kibana.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data models, architectures, and pipelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Elasticsearch and related technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our data solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in data processing, analytics, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong background in Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK) stack.
  • Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Experience with containerized PaaS platforms such as Azure Kubernetes Service or Elastic Kubernetes Service.
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Clearance Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen and pass a background investigation.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability/Entry on Duty (EOD) clearance.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
