Position Overview:
This role is pivotal in overseeing the daily operations of the plasma collection center, ensuring optimal performance and staff management. You will work closely with the Center Manager to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily activities in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide clear guidance and expectations to staff, conduct regular meetings, and facilitate effective communication.
  • Collaborate with Group Leaders to streamline donor processing and minimize wait times.
  • Monitor staffing levels to ensure adequate support based on center size and donor flow.
  • Oversee timekeeping procedures, attendance, and overtime utilization.
  • Conduct investigations into errors and propose process enhancements.
  • Assist management in performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain comprehensive employee training records and assist with recruitment efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and promote a culture of safety.
  • Support marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing donor retention.
  • Accurately document donor information in the electronic management system as per SOPs.
  • Understand and adhere to policies related to specialized programs, if applicable.
  • Maintain a clean and efficient work environment, ensuring availability of necessary supplies.
  • Conduct routine audits to ensure adherence to Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of personnel and donor information.
  • Participate in cross-training across various functions to meet business needs.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience in a relevant field.

Working Environment:
  • Collaborative atmosphere focused on problem-solving.
  • Ability to make decisions impacting the immediate team.
  • Engagement with customers and observation of equipment operations.
  • Physical demands include standing and walking for extended periods, manual dexterity, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and exposure to hazardous materials.
  • Personal Protective Equipment is required for specific tasks.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and extended hours as needed.
