Electrical Senior Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Senior Design Engineer to join our team at ENTRUST Solutions Group. As a key member of our electric utility team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality electrical distribution systems for our clients in various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and review electrical distribution systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients and construction crews to discuss project execution and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members to improve team knowledge and skills.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in electrical distribution design and constructability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
  • At least 3 years of experience in electrical distribution design in utilities.
  • Previous experience reviewing designs, providing client support, and performing voltage drop calculations.
  • Experience leading and mentoring a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
  • Experience with PDF editing software such as Bluebeam.
  • Proficiency in drafting software such as BOUD.
  • Knowledge of pole loading software (Poleforeman/OCALC/Spidacalc).
