Job Summary

We are seeking a Development Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching prospective and existing major gift, foundation, and corporate supporters, investigating new potential member leads, and identifying new research techniques and strategies.

Essential Responsibilities
  1. Research prospective and existing major gift, foundation, and corporate supporters.
  2. Investigate new potential member leads, identify connections, and develop new information on our existing supporters.
  3. Identify new research techniques, strategies, and sources.
  4. Write organized reports on prospective and current members.
  5. Compile and review legal or financial documents, contact information, and other related information.
  6. Assist with inter-team communications and knowledge sharing.
  7. Manage database of contacts to ensure accurate and consistent information is being captured.
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a high degree of attention to detail and organization, ability to take initiative, collaborate, and work independently, strong customer service and interpersonal skills, familiarity with and commitment to free-market principles, high degree of discretion, proficiency with Microsoft suite, and Salesforce or CRM experience preferred.
