Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to join our Art Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching assigned courses, developing curriculum and course content, and providing academic support to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in traditional or online modalities, as assigned to college level students.
  • Develop and implement curriculum and course content, including selecting textbooks and other educational materials.
  • Provide academic support to students, including holding office hours and advising students on course requirements.
  • Participate in departmental and university activities, including committee work and professional development.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required.
Requirements
  • Master's degree (M.A. or M.F.A.) from an accredited college or university at the time of appointment.
  • Experience teaching in a university setting, preferably in the field of Art or a related discipline.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with a diverse student and faculty population.
  • Proficiency in using personal computers, Microsoft Office software, and other related software.
Working Conditions
  • Prolonged standing and/or walking.
  • Handling light weight objects.
  • Using or carrying equipment.
