CC Teacher

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated East ELTS CC Teacher to join our team at Madison Metropolitan School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

• Instructional Planning and Delivery
  • Develop and implement rigorous, engaging lesson plans that align with district standards and curriculum.
  • Use data-driven instruction to inform teaching practices and improve student outcomes.
• Classroom Management and Student Engagement
  • Establish a positive and respectful classroom environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
  • Use various teaching methods and strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Communication and Collaboration
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in team planning and co-teaching to enhance student learning and achievement.
• Assessment and Evaluation
  • Develop and implement formative and summative assessments to measure student progress and understanding.
  • Use assessment data to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
• Professional Development and Growth
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices and stay current with best practices in education.
  • Seek feedback and coaching to improve teaching and leadership skills.

• Education and Certification
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) teaching license in Special Education (1801, 1811, 2801, 1810, 1809, 1830, 2801).
