Directional Driller

Overview:

MasTec Communications Group is a company that builds for the future, and we're looking for a skilled individual to join our team as a Directional Drill Operator/Locator. Responsibilities:

• Support directional drilling for the installation of underground conduit and fiber optic cable.
• Locate for Horizontal Directional Driller to successfully install coax and fiber systems.
• Ensure the safety of the public and other underground utility facilities.
• Read utility locates and coordinates day lighting of these facilities.
• Transport heavy equipment to and from the job site each day.

Qualifications:

• A strong track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
• Experience with different size Vermeer or Ditchwitch drills.
• The ability to read and understand maps, drawings, and diagrams for project build processes.
• A valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
