About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team at Ammeraal Beltech. As a key member of our Scheduling team, you will be responsible for coordinating the production process to ensure timely delivery of products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage master materials schedules utilizing our ERP system and databases.
- Participate in continuous improvement of Planning and Control systems.
- Create and maintain capacity requirements, reviewing and recommending changes as needed.
- Develop scheduling methodologies that deliver stable schedules while maintaining agility to support customer needs.
- Monitor and report actual results versus Master Production Schedule.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for and liaison with sales, procurement, and production departments.
- Collaborate with pertinent departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to attain schedule.
- Compare current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials, using judgment to anticipate demand for and to acquire additional supplies as needed.
- Integrate sales orders with master schedule, coordinating availability of raw materials, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery dates.
- Maintain master distribution schedule for the plant, revising as needed and alerting appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays.
- Participate in forecasting meetings with sales, production, and other related departments, leading additional planning meetings with sales, production, and purchasing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of planning/scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Highly skilled in data analysis, manipulation, and presentation.
- Self-motivated to contribute to a team environment.
- Excellent organization skills required.
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ERP).
