Psychiatric Social Worker - LCSW-C

Job Summary:

As a key member of the LifeBridge Health team, the Psychiatric Social Worker - LCSW-C will play a critical role in coordinating psychosocial assessments and discharge planning for patients receiving inpatient psychiatric services. This position requires a seasoned professional with a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, and a strong understanding of community and healthcare resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective discharge plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and appropriate interventions.
  • Utilize knowledge of community resources to support patients and families.
  • Participate in unit or departmental work groups to drive initiatives and exhibit leadership skills.
  • May supervise MSW interns as a field instructor.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a psychiatric setting.
  • Maryland licensure as an LCSW-C or LCPC.
