Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose patients to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide high-quality physical therapy services, focusing on measurable outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Supervise aides and ensure proper setup and cleanup of modalities for non-Medicare and non-BCBSM patients.
  • Monitor and re-evaluate patient progress, revising treatment plans as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Address pain management as a crucial component of care, utilizing techniques to reduce pain and increase functionality.
  • Determine when to discharge patients, teaching them proper mechanics, ergonomics, and strategies to prevent future incidents.
  • Document patient progress accurately and timely, including evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges, and daily progress notes.
  • Achieve a reasonable level of productivity, with a goal of 55-60 treatments and evaluations per week for a full-time Physical Therapist.
  • Participate in research studies and contribute to the development of protocols for common diagnoses.
  • Provide input on policies, procedures, and strategy to ensure high-quality care across all Team Rehabilitation clinics.
  • Handle patient feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and techniques, attending company-sponsored CEUs and utilizing continuing education allowances for seminars, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Valid Physical Therapy License.
