Job Summary

The Department Associate provides administrative support to surgical services, including co-management committees. This role is responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks, including:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to visitors, physicians, and staff
  • Managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings
  • Preparing and processing documents, reports, and other materials
  • Maintaining accurate records and data
  • Assisting with payroll and scheduling
  • Performing other administrative tasks as needed
Responsibilities

The Department Associate will be responsible for:

  • Performing secretarial duties, including greeting and assisting visitors, physicians, and staff
  • Preparing and processing documents, reports, and other materials

  • Performing other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of previous secretary experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Work Environment

This role will be based in a fast-paced medical office environment, requiring the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
