We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our faculty as a part-time instructor in cinema production. The successful candidate will have a strong background in film and television production, with a focus on teaching and mentoring students in a diverse learning environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach courses in film and television production, including pre-production, production, and post-production
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the program's goals and objectives
  • Mentor and advise students in their academic and professional pursuits
  • Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and professional development
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in film or a related field, or 18 semester hours of graduate work in film or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in film and television production, with a focus on teaching and mentoring
  • Graduate degree in film or cinema, and professional credits on distributed or broadcasted work, or significant film festival or contest screenings or awards
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching in a diverse learning environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience teaching courses in screenwriting, sound design, post-production, or television
  • Professional experience in film and television production, including pre-production, production, and post-production
