Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at JAG Physical Therapy. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses, developing effective treatment plans, and maintaining patient confidentiality. You will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to restore functional independence in patients.

Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of $83,000 per year, which may include up to $7,500 sign-on bonus, up to $2,500 relocation bonus, health, dental, and vision benefits, HSA options, $10,000 term life insurance benefit, up to 4 weeks PTO, and 401(k) with company match.
ResponsibilitiesAs an Occupational Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collecting and recording patient care data, following format and guidelines of patient care service, regulatory agencies, and third-party payers.
- Preparing for evaluations, selecting and administering tests and measures, synthesizing evaluation results to formulate diagnoses, goals, prognosis, and plan of care.
- Establishing treatment plans based on evaluation results, goals, and best practices, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and patient support systems.
- Providing education and training to patients and their support systems, implementing functional training programs, neurological interventions, and musculoskeletal interventions.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree required, Doctorate degree preferred.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Completed state-regulated CEU requirements in relevant states (NY, NJ).
- Valid CPR license.
- Experience/knowledge with EMR software preferred.
- Excellent oral, written communication skills.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills.
- At least 1 year of professional OT experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work as a team member and individually with minimal supervision.
