Job Summary:

PruittHealth is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning Services: Provide cleaning services to maintain a clean and hygienic environment, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Trash and Recycling: Empty trash cans, clean exterior and interior, and replace with clean can liners.
  • Bathroom Cleaning: Clean bathroom sinks, fixtures, and toilets, following infection control standards.
  • Glass Cleaning: Clean glass surfaces such as mirrors, pictures, and windows.
  • Furniture and Equipment: Clean behind and underneath furniture, and dust and damp clean surfaces in patient/resident rooms.
  • Laundry and Linens: Assist with laundry and linen services as needed.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities team, and communicate with staff and residents regarding cleaning schedules and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: None required, on-the-job training provided.
  • Qualifications: Previous experience with healthcare housekeeping or environmental services preferred.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination: Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required by date of hire.
