About the Role

Maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment is crucial for delivering exceptional patient care. As an Anesthesia Technician at Maine Medical Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our anesthesia department.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks on anesthesia equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Supply Management
  • Monitor and maintain accurate levels of anesthesia supplies, including medications and equipment.
• Assisting Anesthesiologists/CRNAs
  • Provide support to anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) during patient procedures, including positioning and preparing patients for anesthesia.

Requirements

• Education
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience
  • Experience in an acute care setting is required, with a minimum of two years of experience in an operating room or central sterile supply department preferred.
