As a Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering direct clinical services to clients, including individual, group, and family psychotherapy, case management services, and parent training workshops.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct clinical services to clients, including individual, group, and family psychotherapy, case management services, and parent training workshops.
- Function as a member of a treatment team and effectively communicate clinical services to other team members, social services agencies, and monitoring bodies.
- Attend required meetings and trainings.
- Gather histories of mental and physical disabilities, alcohol and drug use, past mental service, and criminal justice contracts.
- Assess family, social, and work relationships.
- Conduct mental health examinations.
- Document a multiaxial DSM diagnosis.
- Write and supervise a treatment plan.
- Conduct a comprehensive Mental Health Assessment.
- Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy within the scope of their training.
Requirements:
- Must hold a graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Valid Oregon driver's license and insurable driving record.
- Personal automobile insurance required if clients are transported or agency business is conducted using a personal vehicle.
- Must meet the requirements to become MHACBO QMHP Certified.
