Position: Project Finance and M&A Analyst

The Green Recruitment Company is collaborating with a distinguished renewable energy developer to find an Analyst or Associate to enhance their commercial team and assist in future project and portfolio acquisitions. With a substantial pipeline of solar and storage initiatives, this is an ideal moment to become part of this dynamic, people-oriented organization.
Key Responsibilities- Assess renewable energy generation and storage projects/portfolios for potential acquisition.
- Assist in the negotiation of offtake agreements and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), as well as in commercial development efforts.
- Facilitate the commercialization of assets by delivering analytical support.
- Develop and oversee financial models while coordinating due diligence, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Analyst Level - relevant work experience including internships (investment banking, finance, consulting), ideally within the energy or renewables sectors.
- Associate Level - minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience (investment banking, finance, consulting), preferably in the energy or renewables sectors.
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- Proficient in advanced financial modeling (preferably including VBA).
- Familiarity with PowerPoint is essential.
Candidates must be able to work in the company's Washington, D.C. office at least 2 days per week. Competitive compensation and benefits are provided for this position.
