Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Ogden Regional Medical Center. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Provide direct therapy services, including speech, language, and swallowing therapy, to patients of all ages.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and implement home programs and provide family training to support patient progress and independence.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new procedures and service lines.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current State of Utah Speech Language Pathologist license.
  • National certification by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association to practice Speech Language Pathology or Clinical Fellowship year.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
  • One year of related work experience in an acute-care setting preferred.
