Position: We are currently seeking a full-time Catering Supervisor to lead our catering operations.

Schedule: Flexible AM and PM shifts available, including weekends. Specific details will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements: Previous experience in catering and leadership is essential.

Compensation: Enjoy a competitive pay range of $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, with a $1.00 shift differential for shifts starting after 6:00 PM.

Sign-On Bonus: Full-time employees are eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus, distributed as follows: $100 after 30 days, $150 after 60 days, and $250 after 90 days.

Job Summary: As a Catering Supervisor, you will coordinate staff schedules to ensure timely delivery, service, and cleanup of catering functions. You will prepare and serve food under the guidance of the Catering Director and may be responsible for transporting food and beverages to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess workload requirements based on catering orders.
  • Collaborate with function leaders to finalize setup arrangements and address any last-minute changes.
  • Engage with customers to resolve complaints in a service-oriented manner.
  • Provide clear instructions to staff regarding work expectations for catered events.
  • Assist in setting up venues according to specifications.
  • Deliver food and supplies to designated locations.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests while ensuring proper presentation and portion control.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all catering equipment and supplies.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and ensure compliance with approved recipes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A valid driver's license may be required.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit as mandated by state law.
