Job Summary

Under the direction of the Police Chief, this position is responsible for performing law enforcement and public safety work in the protection of life and property through the enforcement of laws and ordinances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform law enforcement and public safety work in varied assignments such as motorized patrol, traffic control and enforcement, preliminary and follow-up investigation at crime scenes.
  • Provide first responder treatment to the injured and assist in public safety education and community service programs.
  • Work in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies to ensure public safety and protect life and property.
