Select Energy Services is seeking a highly skilled Land Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Operations Team, you will be responsible for acquiring authorizations and permits for surface and pipeline right of ways.
Key Responsibilities:- Permitting and Access: Obtain permits and authorizations from government agencies, landowners, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Landowner Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
- Right of Way Management: Assist in the identification, acquisition, and management of rights of way for pipeline and surface operations.
- Water Permitting: Obtain permits and authorizations for water use and transfer, working with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure compliance with regulations.
- GIS Mapping: Utilize GIS systems to map potential routes, land ownership, and water sources, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of sales, transfer volumes, and other activities, meeting internal and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to Identify and Map Field Locations: Identify and map field locations, including pipeline routes, water recycling facilities, oil drilling and hydraulic fracturing operations, BLM, state, and private lands, roads, and highways.
- Proficient with Microsoft Systems: Proficient with Microsoft systems, including Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Self-Awareness and Initiative: Demonstrate self-awareness and initiative, taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
- Knowledge of Principles for Presenting Expectations: Knowledge of principles for presenting expectations to management, customers, and landowners.
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with attention to detail.
