A & A Services is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide quality patient care and assist healthcare providers in various medical settings. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient vital signs and symptoms, and assisting with patient assessments and care planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
  • Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms, reporting any changes to the healthcare team
  • Assist with patient assessments and care planning
  • Perform wound care and dressing changes
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions and self-care techniques
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in IV infusion and ventilator management
  • Knowledge of infection control practices
  • Experience in long-term care and outpatient settings
  • Familiarity with medical office procedures
  • Ability to work with durable medical equipment (DME)
  • Competence in pain management techniques
  • Experience with Athenahealth or similar electronic health records systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
