Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Security Officer to join our team at Barbier Security Group. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties, including a scenic college campus, shopping centers, and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a visible presence on client properties to deter and prevent unauthorized access
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, including alarms and suspicious activity
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, employees, and visitors
  • Operate a company vehicle to patrol client properties, as required
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless security operations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current California Guard Card License
  • Reliable form of transportation
  • Basic computer and smartphone proficiency
  • Ability to pass a Background check and drug screening
  • Clear understanding of emergency response procedures and protocols
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year previous security officer, mobile patrol, or event staff experience
  • Good driving history (3yrs - no suspensions or serious violations)
  • Permit for exposed firearm (preferred for Vehicle Patrol ONLY)
  • Training or experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques
