Benchmark Human Services is a leading organization in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health. We are seeking an RN Healthcare Coordinator to provide healthcare coordination and direct intervention for individuals in our Transition Crisis Support program.

The RN will provide training and clinical oversight for unlicensed staff to meet the healthcare needs of individuals served. This includes providing training on medication supervision, delegated tasks, treatment protocols, and monitoring.

The RN will also oversee pharmacy and medication needs, maintain health-related records, and complete documentation and assessments. Additionally, the RN will support individuals in obtaining health services appropriate for their needs and respond to emergency medical situations in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will have a current Georgia license, experience in IDD/Mental Health nursing, and a valid Driver's License with no driving limitations. Responsibilities:

  • Provide healthcare and wellness coordination for individuals in accordance with all state and federal regulations.
  • Function as liaison and advocate for individuals' healthcare, wellbeing, and inclusion.
  • Train unlicensed staff on medication supervision and delegated tasks.
  • Implement and train employees on new and revised health-related policies and procedures.
  • Oversee pharmacy and medication needs.
  • Maintain health-related records and complete documentation and assessments.
  • Support individuals in obtaining health services appropriate for their needs.
  • Respond to emergency medical situations in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • RN with current Georgia license.
  • Experience in IDD/Mental Health nursing.
  • Valid Driver's License with no driving limitations.
