Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at Flagship Facility Services. As a Janitorial Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.

Responsibilities

• Empty waste baskets and replace liners as needed
• Dust and clean tops of office furniture, cleared desks, and surfaces of tables
• Vacuum all carpeting and spot clean soiled areas as needed
• Clean glass on lobby doors and sweep and mop floors
• Empty waste baskets and replace liners in lunchrooms and break areas
• Wipe and clean all table tops and chairs, vending machines, and appliances
• Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals in restrooms
• Spot clean walls, partitions, and doors as needed
• Perform periodic tasks such as cleaning overhead vents, dusting blinds, and polishing wood furniture

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 6 months of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and move equipment and trash
• Ability to safely use equipment and tools

Work Environment

• Small to large office environment
• Fast-paced work environment
• Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, cleaning products, and noise
