Job Title: Medical Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team at Cibola General Hospital.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will work closely with our medical providers to deliver high-quality patient care and service. Our medical assistants play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic, providing excellent support to our patients and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist medical providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
  • Take and record patient vitals, including weight, blood pressure, and other essential measurements
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the process
  • Perform various clinical duties, such as drawing blood, administering injections, and performing EKGs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, adhering to strict confidentiality and privacy protocols
Requirements:
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant training program completion highly desirable
  • CPR/BLS certification and ability to run CLIA waived tests
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in the use of computer software and office equipment, including electronic medical records systems
Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $42,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
