Position Title: Early Childhood Education Assistant
Position Type: Student Support Services / Preschool Teacher Assistant
Job Overview: The Early Childhood Education Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the educational development of infants and toddlers within a structured learning environment.
Work Schedule: 8.0 hours per day, Regular shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 187 days per year
Compensation: $16.10 per hour (potential for increase based on experience) with competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, IPERS retirement, personal leave, sick leave, and more.
Qualifications: To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess at least one of the following:
- Infant - Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA)
- Associate's Degree with a minimum of 12 credit hours in early childhood education
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 12 credit hours in early childhood education and/or related fields
Preferred Experience: Prior experience working with young children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
Certification Requirement: Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire is mandatory.
