We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Overnight Retail Cashier to join our team at Jackson Energy. Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Greet every customer with a smile, thanking them for their business, and inviting them to return.
- Checkout Experience: Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience, accurately ringing up sales and merchandise while offering available discounts and promotions.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness, both inside and outside the store, and properly label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays.
- Additional Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Availability: Flexible availability to support business needs for a 24/7 operation, including holidays and weekends.
- Customer Service Skills: A willingness and passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with a friendly and can-do attitude.
- Teamwork: A history of being a team player and leading by example.
- Cashiering Experience: A level of knowledge of cashiering in food service or retail environments preferred.
- Problem-Solving: The ability to think quickly on your feet and react to change.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for an extended period, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
- Lifting: Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
- Work Environment: Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
- Same Day Pay: Receive same-day pay for your hard work.
- Profit Share Bonus: Participate in a profit share bonus program.
