Job Description

Next Care Hospice is a leading provider of compassionate end-of-life care, seeking an experienced Per-Diem Hospice RN to join our team. As a skilled nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients in their homes and senior facilities, utilizing your expertise in hospice care to ensure the best possible outcomes.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $250.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, and vision insurance. Our hospice patients are located in Los Angeles County, Orange County, and surrounding areas, and we require our RNs to be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will possess a current RN license within the State, a minimum of one year of hospice experience, and knowledge of EMR software. We provide training for Hospice MD, and our RNs work cooperatively with the attending physician, Hospice Medical Director, and other members of the interdisciplinary Hospice team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct supervisory visits, recertifications, and new admissions
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients
  • Initiate and coordinate the hospice care plan
  • Supervise CHHAs and LVNs
  • Provide skilled nursing hospice and palliative care services

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license within the State
  • Hospice experience required
  • Knowledge of EMR software
