Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality nursing care in the Critical Care unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and their families to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Coordinate and delegate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues, promoting efficient and effective care delivery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, utilizing computerized data and information systems.
• Follow established guidelines and policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
Requirements
• Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• 1+ years of RN experience preferred, with a strong background in Critical Care nursing.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN, or BSN (preferred), with the ability to obtain BSN within 4 years.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency, with experience in electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
• Fluency in another language a plus.
Additional Information
• 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week, with a 7p-7:30a schedule.
• IMCU step-down experience preferred, with telemetry experience required.
• Pyxis and Epic experience a plus, with travel experience preferred.
• NH RN or compact license required, with a willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's).
• Limited RTO, with a manager unable to grant time off the week of Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's.
• Traveler must live greater than 50 miles from Dover, NH.
• Certification: Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support
