Job Title: Buyer Associate

Volt is seeking a highly skilled Buyer Associate to join our team. As a Buyer Associate, you will be responsible for performing a range of procurement activities, including monitoring inventory and managing product shortages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Lead negotiations of contracts, including terms and volume discounts.
  • Draft procurement reports and analyze inventory and project utilization.
  • Expedite orders and reconcile payable discrepancies.
  • Manage freight billing and audit processes.
  • Research specifications of products not clearly identified.
  • Enter and edit purchase orders and blanket order releases.
  • Ensure product file integrity.
  • Maintain good customer and supplier relations.
  • Reconcile customer problems.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years' experience in a buyer role.
  • Proven ability to follow documented procedures.
  • 1-2 years' experience with Microsoft Office software.
  • Detail-oriented and proven organization skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong customer service skills and problem-solving proficiency.
