Job Title: Buyer AssociateVolt is seeking a highly skilled Buyer Associate to join our team. As a Buyer Associate, you will be responsible for performing a range of procurement activities, including monitoring inventory and managing product shortages.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments.
- Lead negotiations of contracts, including terms and volume discounts.
- Draft procurement reports and analyze inventory and project utilization.
- Expedite orders and reconcile payable discrepancies.
- Manage freight billing and audit processes.
- Research specifications of products not clearly identified.
- Enter and edit purchase orders and blanket order releases.
- Ensure product file integrity.
- Maintain good customer and supplier relations.
- Reconcile customer problems.
- 1-2 years' experience in a buyer role.
- Proven ability to follow documented procedures.
- 1-2 years' experience with Microsoft Office software.
- Detail-oriented and proven organization skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong customer service skills and problem-solving proficiency.
