Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and career-oriented Logistics Operations Supervisor to lead a team of Operators in delivering exceptional transloading services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and address each customer's unique requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and facilitate daily movements to optimize production.
  • Conduct general maintenance of the facility.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Implement the Savage S7 Delivery System effectively.
  • Manage financial aspects including budgeting, projections, and variance analysis.
  • Adhere to and promote the Savage Safety Program.
  • Provide leadership and training to team members in communication, team building, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with operational processes and procedures.
  • Plan and complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer operations and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understand transportation and transloading of hazardous materials.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with governmental regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of college education.
  • Experience in equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Proven leadership experience with diverse teams.

Physical Requirements:

  • Hands-on position requiring active participation alongside the team.
  • Ability to work at heights and safely navigate railcars and ladders.
  • Willingness to undergo hazardous material handling and general safety training.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Capable of lifting at least fifty (50) pounds.
  • In good physical condition, able to walk one (1) to two (2) miles per shift.
