Job Summary:

Spalding Consulting, Inc. is seeking a skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining docker container solutions. You will work closely with our team to modernize applications into microservices architecture and integration with API management tools. Additionally, you will work towards modernizing legacy applications to a cloud solution and adopt new technologies from the prototype phase through production phase.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinates, architects, and maintains docker container solutions

Modernizes applications into microservices architecture and integration with API management tools

Works towards modernizing legacy applications to a cloud solution

Ability to adopt new technologies and move them from the prototype phase through production phase

Requirements:

5 years of experience providing web applications development support

Agile software development experience

At least 3 years experience with one language

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Experience

OpenShift experience

Experience working with Docker and container orchestration software

Experience with microservices

Working knowledge of DevOps support processes

C#/.NET development experience

Python development experience

GoLang development experience

Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) experience

Security Clearance:
Active Secret clearance preferred. Interim secret acceptable to start.

Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:
BS or BA degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering, Business, or Mathematics preferred.

**COVID-19 Procedures:

On-boarding/training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however on-boarding/training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week during the current COVID-19 situation.

Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received. On-site guidance regarding social distancing, PPE (wearing masks at all times), and proper hand-washing/sanitization procedures are followed.
