Job Summary:
Conway Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood specimens and process them according to established protocols and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting body requirements, as well as Conway Regional Health System policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with laboratory staff to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with laboratory procedures and technologies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in phlebotomy preferred.
- Graduation or certification from a related technical school preferred.
Working Conditions:
This is a safety-sensitive position, and the employee must be able to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment. The employee must also be able to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
