Job Overview

As a key member of our team, the AM Host plays a vital role in setting the tone for our signature hospitality. This role requires a high level of anticipation and clear communication to maximize our capacity and provide an exceptional experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional guest interactions with warmth, professionalism, and a personal touch.
  • Present a polished and welcoming appearance at the front door.
  • Stay up-to-date on Tock and ensure a smooth flow of covers while accommodating guest needs.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our restaurant operations, food, and beverage offerings.
  • Collaborate with management and support staff to communicate the flow of the door.
  • Utilize strong organizational and communication skills to ensure guest satisfaction and build relationships.
  • Represent The Pulpo Group with a positive impression of the restaurant and all our businesses.
  • Provide soignee services, including taking note of guest preferences, recommending activities, and providing parking details.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and ambiance of the restaurant, including the host stand, foyer, restrooms, and overall space.
Requirements
  • Availability for AM Lunch/Brunch shifts.
  • Experience in providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work as a team player to serve the team mission and each guest fully.
  • Emotional intelligence and a positive attitude towards change and ambiguity.
  • High level of personal hygiene and presentation.
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
  • Unwillingness to compromise on standards or accept shortcuts.
  • Consistency in performance and reliability.
  • Ability to work in sync with the flow of the restaurant.
  • Weekend availability.

Competitive hourly rate of $9 + tips, averaging $186/week.
