Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist Opportunity

At UnitedHealth Group, we're committed to helping people live healthier lives and making the health system work better for everyone. As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist with Optum Tri-State, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Explain procedures and processes to patients
  • Operate imaging equipment, adjusting exposure factors to produce high-quality images
  • Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure
  • Process and review images for proper identification and quality control
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • License to practice Diagnostic Radiology in the state of New York
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • 1+ years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (preferred)
