Job Overview

Landscaping by J. Michael is seeking an Irrigation Technician who is dedicated, knowledgeable, and eager to contribute to the landscaping industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install irrigation systems for both residential and commercial properties.
  • Conduct spring activation and fall shutdown/winterization of irrigation systems.
  • Diagnose and repair issues with existing irrigation systems, including pipes, sprinkler heads, control panels, valves, and pumps.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Comprehensive understanding of irrigation systems.
  • Experience operating company machinery such as trenchers, pullers, trucks, and tampers.
  • Ability to interpret irrigation plans, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Capability to organize job sites, procure materials, and manage administrative tasks.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • At least 3 years of experience in irrigation; certification preferred.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and DOT Card.
