Diesel Technician

As a Diesel Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our fleet. Your expertise in repairing and maintaining diesel engines will ensure our trucks are on the road, delivering food to customers nationwide.

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic with a strong background in heavy-duty vehicle repair. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience working on medium to heavy-duty trucks, including PM's, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair, and refrigeration.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance such as oil changes, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment, as well as repairing complex issues with our fleet vehicles. Additionally, they will provide guidance and training to other mechanics and contribute to a safe and inclusive working environment.

• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines, including inspections, repairs, and replacements
• Diagnose and repair complex issues with medium to heavy-duty trucks, including brake systems, steering mechanisms, and wheel bearings
• Install, replace, and repair onboard computers and other electronic components
• Train and guide other mechanics on complex repairs and procedures
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and participate in quality control initiatives

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience working on medium to heavy-duty trucks
• Proven track record of success in diesel engine repair and maintenance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
