About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Home Health team at Arvalo Inc. As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our clients and making a meaningful impact on their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy recommendations for clients with Development and Intellectual Disabilities, enabling them to perform daily tasks with independence.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including RNs, LVNs, DCSs, PTs, and QIDPs, to develop and implement personalized plans of care.
  • Assess patients, identify deficits, establish therapy goals, and document progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Assist clients with exercises to improve fine motor skills and coordination, promoting overall well-being.
  • Suggest adaptive equipment, such as grab bars, adaptive utensils, AFOs, and shower chairs, to enhance home safety and accessibility.
  • Educate clients and staff on plan of care, exercises, goals, and self-care strategies to empower them with knowledge and confidence.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program and active PT license in CA.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of physical therapy experience, preferably in home healthcare.
  • Ability to pass a Background Check, Physical, Drug Screen, and TB Test.
  • Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.
  • Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, and compassion.
