Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Bullock County Hospital in Union Springs, AL.

This is a PRN position, requiring 1-2 days per week of weekday availability to fill in for our full-time staff on an as-needed basis.

The ideal candidate will also be required to take call on weekdays and weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fulfills all legal and regulatory requirements, including evaluation, selection, procurement, and distribution of drugs, counseling, and professional consultation.
  • Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as policies of the hospital and PharmD on Demand.
  • Interprets physician medication orders, compounds, and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals and related products for patient care.
  • Responsible for supervising technicians on duty during shift.
