About the Position: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced registered nurse to join Virginia Commonwealth University's (VCU) Nurse Anesthesia program. As a Tutor, you will provide exceptional academic support to students through tutoring, small group sessions, and comprehensive class previews.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students by fostering their growth and development in advanced physiology and pathophysiology principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tutor students requiring additional assistance in small group sessions.
  • Develop customized teaching approaches in consultation with the Course Coordinator.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Valid nursing license.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an RN in Intensive Care Units (ICU).
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 30 hours of course work in nurse anesthesia.
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $52,500 per year, based on industry standards and location considerations.
