Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Suburban Inns. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness in our dishroom and kitchen areas.

Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize all cooking utensils, china, equipment, flatware, and glassware to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Collect and dispose of trash from all kitchen areas, empty garbage cans, wash, and reline with new bags.
  • Inspect floors in kitchen areas to ensure they remain clean, clear of debris, and dry.
  • Assist in completing weekly kitchen cleaning and maintenance list.
  • Exhibit regular and recurrent attendance records.
Requirements
  • Minimum Knowledge: Requires ability to interpret/extract information and/or perform arithmetic functions. Good communication skills.
  • Formal Education and Job-Related Experience: None.
  • Work Schedule: Work regularly requires or varies between day, evening, night, holiday, and/or weekend assignments.
Uniform and Appearance Guidelines

Uniform: Uniform shirt and hat will be provided. Suburban Inns approved black slacks or Dockers (no yoga-style) and black, close-toed, non-slip shoes are the responsibility of the Team Member.

Appearance: Hair must be kept well-groomed. All facial piercings and tattoos that are not covered by a work uniform must be approved by management.
