Position Types:

Full-Time 1st Shift | Part-Time 1st Shift

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support residents in preventative, therapeutic, and restorative nursing tasks while adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
  • Assist with personal hygiene, feeding, dressing, mobility, and transferring of residents.
  • Complete all necessary documentation and report any defective equipment or potential safety risks.
  • Engage with residents, families, healthcare team members, and other staff in a respectful and cooperative manner.
  • Participate in all required in-service training as mandated by facility and state/federal regulations.
  • Uphold and respect residents' dignity, privacy, and confidentiality in accordance with the Residents Bill of Rights.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including the disposal of soiled linens.
  • Provide a broad range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
  • Help residents maintain comfort and independence in their daily activities.
  • Ensure accurate, efficient, and timely care documentation.
  • Carry out other tasks as needed or assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Successful completion of an approved nurse aide training program and state-required testing.
  • Must be in good standing with the Nurse Aide Registry.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, and follow both oral and written instructions.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; must be capable of using proper lifting techniques and equipment to assist residents.
