Job SummaryWe are seeking a registered professional Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team in delivering individualized and comprehensive care to patients within our Acute Care and Outpatient rehabilitation departments.
Responsibilities- Provide Dysphagia rehabilitation and speech therapy in both hospital and clinical settings, tailoring interventions based on thorough assessments and written evaluations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design treatment plans appropriate to each patient's medical condition, with the goal of achieving optimal functional outcomes.
- Utilize innovative technology and evidence-based practices to enhance patient rehabilitation and communication abilities.
- Take responsibility for the administration and interpretation of Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS), leveraging your expertise in dysphagia management.
- Possession of a Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical setting, demonstrating proficiency in speech therapy and dysphagia rehabilitation.
- Prior experience conducting Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) is essential.
- Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Current licensure from the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in Georgia.
