Position Overview

Salary: $11.80 - $15.00 per hour based on experience.

This role serves as a temporary educational assistant, available on an as-needed basis during operational hours, typically from 6:40 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Substitutes will be contacted in advance whenever feasible, with the option to decline any offered shifts.

All candidates must agree to sign and comply with a contractual agreement prior to employment and complete the necessary orientation.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children under supervision.
  • Assist in the preparation and supervision of meals and snacks as directed.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all interactions.

Substitutes are expected to wear appropriate, child-friendly attire and accessories. A commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment for all students and staff is essential. Candidates must be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification, pass all required background checks, and provide three references (two professional and one personal).
