About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Resident Support Specialist to join our team at The Bluffs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality outcomes for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional support to residents with their activities of daily living, promoting independence and dignity
  • Take and record vital signs as directed by medical or nursing staff, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Makes routine rounds on assigned residents, providing comfort and reassurance as needed
  • Promptly communicates any significant changes in behavior or condition to supervisors
  • Participate in committees or work teams as requested, contributing to continuous improvement and excellence

Requirements:

  • State certification as a nursing assistant is required
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Strong observation skills and effective communication abilities
  • Ability to occasionally assist in lifting or transferring residents (up to 250 pounds)

  • Shift differential: $1.00 per hour (3p-7a), with potential increase up to $1.50 per hour after 30 days
