  • Capacity Review and Analysis: Provide analysis of core and LOB infrastructure capacity to ensure sufficient levels of infrastructure capacity, availability, and resiliency.
  • Disaster Recovery Planning: Design, document, and automate disaster recovery plans for core components, ensuring business continuity in the event of a disaster.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document lessons learned and knowledge articles on various technical issues, ensuring knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.
  • Governance and Compliance: Provide governance and oversight to stakeholders to ensure compliance with disaster recovery policies and standards.
Requirements
  • Linux OS Expertise: Excellent knowledge of Linux OS internals and operational OS skills.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Expertise in handling overall IT infrastructure scheduled maintenance.
  • Operational Skills: Excellent operational skills, troubleshooting production issues, and identifying root cause prevention.
  • Scripting Skills: Knowledge of Python, Shell, and Perl scripting.
  • Infrastructure Knowledge: Understanding of overall infrastructure and ability to understand different technologies (in-house, open-source, third-party).
  • Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills and experience working with different regional teams.
  • Financial Knowledge: Good understanding of financial terms and banking experience within equities.
