About the Role:

The DarkStar Group LLC is seeking a skilled Junior Linux System Administrator to join our team in Herndon, VA. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for monitoring and acting on hardware and software outages, engaging with tenants and users of our OpenStack Cloud Platform, implementing cyber security remediations, and upgrading and deploying applications.

Responsibilities:

* Monitor and act on hardware and software outages on the platform
* Engage with tenants and users of the OpenStack Cloud Platform via chat services to assist with troubleshooting and requests
* Implement cyber security remediations in close cooperation with the cyber security team
* Upgrade and deploy applications on the platform
* Integrate new hardware into multiple different compute clusters
* Review and update existing procedures and documentation
