About the Role: As an Internal Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services to patients in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop Comprehensive Care Plans: Create and implement comprehensive and coordinated plans of care that take into account medical records, patient and family needs, primary care physicians, and specialists.
  2. Hospital Rounds and Collaboration: Make daily hospital rounds and collaborate with hospitals and care management teams to review patients and make informed decisions.
  3. Case Management and Review: Review patients with case managers and attend to patients in Care Center (CCC) and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs).
  4. On-Call Responsibilities: Be available for on-call nights and weekends as scheduled.

Requirements:

  • Education and Licensure: Requires an MD, completion of Internal Medicine residency, and 2 years of experience as a Hospitalist. Requires current unrestricted medical licensure in applicable state(s) and board eligibility or board certification. DEA license required.
  • Additional Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent patient care and services.
